About Us

The Milestones  project is conceived and presently financed by like-minded partners and supporters who share a belief in its Objectives.

A small team takes care of the daily business. Working from  theteam@milestonesscotland.co.uk.team members deal with emails received on our three principal email addresses:

for Appreciations  –  appreciations@milestonesscotland.co.uk

The Team comprises mainly Mediators. They help customers with IT – that is with submitting their entries to registration and appreciations. Occasionally they will assist with the application of Milestones Guidelines to material submitted by customers.

The team will respond to emails sent to Contact and to messages left on the dedicated company mobile 07878 922 942.  Team members are known only by their initials or pen names. All are volunteers.

The Profiles in Milestones Memories Register at launch have all been submitted by project partners, team members or supporters. Many of the Profiles are from, often of, their families, friends, colleagues. A number are of people they have admired and want to see remembered. (Some, to illustrate  the range of Tributes we accept are from works of fiction.) We are grateful to all  who have  helped in the populating of Memories Register, enabling visitors to the site to make an assessment its potential for them.

These partners, team members and supporters have thus far funded the setting up and the continuing running costs of the project. After launch we are confident that sustaining the site will be achieved by donations and, particularly, sustaining payments.  Find more detail in Funding the Project.
